New England Pest Management Association Fall Training


The New England Pest Management Association is an organization of pest management professionals from Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Working in collaboration with the National Pest Management Association, they provide education and promote professionalism for the pest management industry.

Insects Limited’s, Ethan Estabrook presented “Stored Product Insects”. Stored product insects cause billions of dollars of damage to the stored product industry every year. Whether you work with food, animal feed, grains, seeds, textiles, tobacco, or taxidermy – START WITH THE INSECT FIRST! Identifying the insect and understanding their biology is the first step to an effective integrated pest management program. In this presentation we identify some of the most common stored product insects, their biology, and food habits.
